There is now a single application form to apply for accounts on any of the University HPC clusters.
Accounts are available on the HPC service to all research staff and postgraduate research students. If you are a taught course student, please speak to your supervisor who will need to sponsor your application.
Please note you will need to tick the AGREEMENT section at the bottom of the form to get an account. Once you do so, the SUBMIT button will appear.
- If you are new to the HPC service, select the NEW USER (ARC2 and ARC3) option. You will get accounts on the public nodes of the ARC2 and ARC3 machines.
- If your research is associated with LIDA (Leeds Institute for Data Analytics) and in the domains of Medicine, Bioinformatics or Consumer Data Analytics you may also apply for an account on the MARC1 cluster.
If you already have ARC accounts and are requesting an additional one (for ARC3) you will not receive an automatic notification that the account has been created. The account should be created within 2 working day so please let us know if you are not able to login to this new account after 2 working days from your application. The host name is arc3.leeds.ac.uk.
